WALL-E, Human Imagination

Hi, I am back again here in order to complete the task of lecturers .. hehe

This time we were given the task to respond to the film that uses artificial intelligence technology . What is artificial intelligence? According to Wikipedia , the artificial intelligence is an intelligence that created and put into a machine ( computer ) that can do the job as do humans . Wall - E is one of the films that apply artificial intelligence. I have watch this movie many times , but never bored because the story and the technology used is very interesting.  The best movies filmed Disney Pixar .

I think the film presents a balance in the use of technology . The film depicts the positive side of the use of technology as well as the negative side . Not many similar films depicting the two, usually only one side that they showed. Human technological advances in the field of science is certainly an achievement of human civilization itself, but if it is not accompanied by balancing environment, then there is the apocalypse. Earth could become uninhabitable place for humans, animals, and plants.

Earth becomes uninhabitable due because of garbage result of human activities, so that the plants can not grow that causes the earth into a planet may no longer support life. Even if not impossible later humans will go from the Earth to the spaceship in which there are a variety of advanced technology to search for habitable place on other planets in the universe. The development of robotic technology can facilitate the course of human life, but the massive and sustained use can lead to negative effects. One is to make people become lazy to do anything because everything is a done by robots, even to drink from the cup only a man can not do it without the help of a robot ( as shown in the film). So it can be said that humans create robots to colonize themselves. Not only that, the threat to human health is very real, this film depicts obesity and decrease in the size of human bones have not been doing any activity using their own limbs .

Can not be denied that the use of robotic technology is very promising. But one thing that should be considered is from the human side . If all sectors of human life using a robot, such as transportation, security, and even the manufacturing process in the factory then there is unemployment everywhere. All tasks are usually performed by humans are all replaced by robots, although from the company to reduce production costs and maximize profits, but on the other hand can lead to social chaos. Among them is the increasingly widespread crime and other social vulnerabilities pose. Not only that, if it had reached dangerous levels, humans can become slaves of their own robotic creations. As depicted in this film, where the robot controller spaceship would not restore man back to earth and man was powerless against it, until finally WALL - E and his friend can stop it.
