Future Store Review

Metro Group is a company based in Germany , one of their flagship product is the Future Store. A supermarket concept of the future that is not only sophisticated but also has a very high value functionality. Here I will show you my response about video that technologies applied to supermarkets in the future initiated by the Metro Group .
The first technology that actually shown have bit relationship with the future store concept , but rather the intelligent home appliances. Smart Fridge and Smart Washing Machine. Two objects that can be considered at this time include the basic needs of the household. Smart Fridge as the name suggests this is not an ordinary refrigerators, that refrigerator can detect all kinds of food and beverage therein and can alert the owner if there is a food that runs out. Then Smart Washing Machine that can remind users the potential to fade on clothes to be washed .
Next interesting and advanced technology that is the core of the future store is Electronic Shopping List and Smart Trolley which can reduce the risk of us forget to buy the things we need. Not only that , the smart trolley can also calculate the total goods we buy and also the total price to be paid . This sophistication is combined with other technologies, namely Smart Shelves, a technology applied to monitor the amount of goods available on the storefront to minimize lack of goods because directly connected to a computer on the procurement of goods. The employee's job becomes easier because it does not need to frequently check directly to the location of the goods .
Easiness offered by the future store are not only for employees and consumers, but also the company as product manufacturers will get it. Smart Information Terminal which is able to display ads on various certain products to consumers, not only that, but also be able to prescribe certain foods that can be directly sent to the consumers cell phones .
Future store not only provides the sophistication in the field of food, but also clothing. Smart Dressing Room may in the future will be more attractive to consumers shopping for clothes because consumers do not need to get into the fitting room to try on clothes, but only standing in front of the smart dressing room and then will be displayed along with the reflection of the consumer chooses clothes. This feature is very interesting, because many consumers are lazy to bought clothes because they have often into the dressing room ( in my opinion ) .
The women were also spoiled by future stores with Smart Mirror technology, numerous of beauty products make the consumer may not try the products one by one. With smart mirror consumers can try beauty products without directly using it, is really very easy .
I think all of the technology used to store future consumer spending could make a paradigm change . Especially men who are reluctant to go shopping, with many conveniences offered is not an excuse for lazy shopping . But one thing to note is the use of such advanced technology would have a direct impact on the price of products offered. Due to maintenance these technologies do not cost you a bit . So according to me this seems like a supermarket concept at first only be enjoyed by consumers only high class consumers. While consumer middle to bottom might prefer to go to traditional markets.
